Approved Chartering for Gettysburg College Colony

Indianapolis, June 24, 2017 - on June 23rd, the Phi Kappa Psi Executive Council voted to approve the chartering petition for two existing colonies: Gettysburg College and West Virginia University.

The Gettysburg College Colony was re-established as a colony in fall 2014 after a brief hiatus and has been working toward the submission of a chartering petition since then. Among many standards that the colony was required to reach, the men achieved an average of over 34 hours of community service per man, the highest fraternity cumulative GPA for numerous semesters in a row, first place in Greek Air Band and a number of other accolades.

Phi Kappa Psi is proud to re-establish both the Pennsylvania Epsilon and West Virginia Alpha chapters of our beloved Fraternity this coming fall. The chartering dates for both of these groups will be released in the near future.
